Matariki – Memory

The purpose of these activity cards is to provide students with information about Matariki and all of the stars within the Matariki cluster. There is also information about Puanga in this deck of cards. Students use cards to play ‘Memory’ or as flashcards to learn the stars of Matariki and Puanga. Cards can also be used as story cards for students to create narratives about Matariki and Puanga. There are 40 cards in the deck with 19 pairs and 2 instruction cards . These cards are suitable for students aged 0 - 7 in Māori-medium.
