Ko Au ko Apanui

This is the story of Apanui Ringamutu the eponymous ancestor of Te Whanau a Apanui and his whanaunga Hikawera of Ngati Porou. They fought against each other several times with Hikawera coming out as victor. Apanui Ringamutu the went on a journey to gain knowledge. Ko Au, Ko Apanui is a scrollable storybook APP with animated and interactive features. Each of the series are targeted at levels, from tamariki 0-4 years through to those aged 12+.

The storybook application will be presented in a digital game format and developed using the game engine Unity 3D. Ko Au, Ko Apanui will be interactive and experiential. It will be based on the voice and an animated version of Apanui Ringamutu who will tell his own story and guide the user through the APP an the interactive process
